WHY I AM Passionate about Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis

"I personally believe Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis should be the gold-standard in all medicine as it shines light on imbalances, dysfunctions and issues allowing you to "course-correct," re-balance and restore functioning, LONG before it progresses into full-force disease. For those with diagnosed disease, it can connect dots otherwise missed and still allow lifestyle, nutritional, supplemental modifications to support disease-management, slow down progression and even reverse severity."

After battling chronic illness since childhood and spending more than a decade in and out of doctors’ offices, specialists, and hospitals, I became all too familiar with the failures of the conventional healthcare system in America.

Determined to find answers, I spent the next 13+ years immersed in holistic healing, naturopathic health, and alternative wellness — searching for the deeper 'why' behind my symptoms & suffering.

In late 2023, while still living in toxic mold and severely ill with CIRS (mold illness), I ran an HLA-DR sequencing blood test. That test revealed a genetic haplotype that didn’t just make me susceptible to mold illness, but also to chronic fatigue syndrome, vaccine injury, and biotoxin-related conditions. Suddenly, the chronic struggles I’d faced since childhood, and the severe health repercussions from getting the HPV-vaccine at age 18, made sense.

That discovery sparked my interest to dive deeper into my blood work and what brought me to study Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis. While I already had years of experience with functional labs; decoding conventional blood work through a functional lens became a new hyper-focus for my neurodivergent brain. It was so fascinating to me to see all the things you could "see" in someones blood work, if you just knew "how" to decode it! I genuinely couldn’t fathom how this wasn’t already standard practice in healthcare.

How is it that medical doctors, regarded as the "go to" for answers when we’re experiencing symptoms/illness — are never trained to interpret bloodwork for organ & systemic dysfunction or imbalance?  It still blows my mind.

After 18 months of studying Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis from the pioneers in this field; I have decided to offer personalized functional blood chemistry reports: to help you learn what your body is actually communicating.

You deserve to feel empowered, validated, and confident in whats going on inside your body.

LEARN THE DIFFERENCES

Let's Break it Down

  • Views the body as a set of separate parts or systems, kind of like a machine; rather than an interconnected whole being whose parts/systems work together and synergistically
  • Focuses on detecting diganosable disease or structural damage, often once it has already progressed.
  • Focuses on *managing symptoms* through specialized diagnoses and medications or surgery — often without addressing the root cause.
  • Uses broad reference ranges based on a general population (including sick individuals), aiming for “normal,” rather than optimal.
  • Flags only extreme outliers — so imbalances go undetected unless they fall outside the "diseased" standard thresholds.
  • Labs are used to confirm or monitor disease, not necessarily to prevent it from forming in the first place.
  • Treatment is often symptom-based and pharmaceutical in nature.
  • Labs are typically limited to standard panels like CMPs, CBCs, cholesterol, glucose, and thyroid — deeper testing is only explored once a disease is obvious.
  • Doesn’t account for individuality — things like age, genetics, lifestyle, or unique patterns are rarely factored in.

Let's Break it Down

  • A proactive, whole-body/being approach focused on early imbalance/dysfunction detection and long-term vitality.
  • Sees the body as a dynamic, interconnected system of physical, emotional, and biochemical processes.
  • Aims to spot dysfunction before it becomes disease — addressing imbalances at the root.
  • Uses narrower “optimal” ranges based on what helps the body thrive and prevent disease — not just survive.
  • Uses multiple systems and methods to piece together a whole-body picture (not just one specialty).
  • Looks for patterns across labs, symptoms, and lifestyle to understand underlying drivers and causations in order to find solutions
  • Encourages early intervention through nutrition, herbs, lifestyle shifts, detox, somatic tools, nervous system support, and emotional healing
  • Health is seen as a spectrum, not a black or white state of disease — even subtle shifts are worth exploring.
  • Treatment is personalized, supportive, and built around restoring full function.
  • Can include expanded lab testing & analysis (micronutrients, organic acids, hormone rhythms, inflammation, mycotoxins, etc.) to catch what conventional tests miss.
  • Honors bioindividuality — lab results are interpreted through the lens of your story, symptoms, body/mind/soul connection, age, lifestyle and unique blueprint.
